Description
The Horizont Intro is a "no-race" cycling experience and the perfect entry-level adventure tour into multi-day bikepacking.
The Tour Horizont Intro is a 220 km adventure gravel experience and community cycling tour leading from the Őrség region, through the Vasi-hegyhát and Zalai-dombság hills, all the way to the shores of Lake Balaton. A signposted route, manageable and enjoyable terrain, and a captivating community atmosphere await you. Here, it is never about speed or racing—it is all about discovering, riding together with others, and embracing the freedom of gravel and bikepacking without any pressure.

Tour Horizont Intro is the relaxed 220 km bikepacking experience, guiding you from rolling countryside to the shores of Lake Balaton. A simple route, friendly terrain, and that unmistakable KLND spirit. Here, it’s never about speed—it’s about exploring, sharing the road, and enjoying the freedom of bikepacking without pressure.
Self-supported Adventure
You control your tour: you choose how much you ride per day and where you sleep. You can ride on the fully marked Horizont route. The route runs from Szentgotthárd to Budapest, touching forests, hilly regions, and hidden trails.
Official Route Access
You will ride on the fully painted and signposted Horizont route, which includes exclusive segments near the basecamps reserved specifically for event participants. Although the event is self-supported, dedicated community basecamps and checkpoints await you along the route, offering camp services provided exclusively for the duration of the event.
Community-Driven
Connect with like-minded riders, share your tips and favorite spots on the community channels, and experience the kind of cultural and social adventures that stay with you long after the event. Build cycling friendships that will last a lifetime!
